It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved veterinarian, Dr. McManus. He was not only an exceptional doctor, but a trusted friend to so many pets and the people who loved them. His dedication, kindness, and compassion will never be forgotten.
As a result, Apollo Pet Hospital and Resort will be closing on January 29, 2026. We encourage all clients to please come by the clinic prior to that date to pick up your pet’s medical records, any needed medications, and food to help your pet transition to a new veterinary clinic. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the clinic. Once the clinic is closed, you can reach out via email to receive your pets record.

Apollo Pet Hospital & Resort began as a mixed practice in 1964, serving the needs of farm animals as well as companion animals, when South Memorial Parkway was surrounded by cattle farms and cotton fields. As Huntsville progressed from cotton town to Rocket City, Apollo Pet Hospital & Resort has grown and changed, always with the goal of providing the best care possible for the animal members of your family.
